Just as this old hymn (Just As I Am) suggests, rather than having all of our questions answered, we often come to God only knowing that we have a deep need. However, God, knew that we would have this need and long ago in loving kindness He provided "the Way" ....
Perhaps you believe you must wait until you are worthy... Or perhaps you have heard some, even Christians, say that God doesn't love you. Neither is true...
Rather, perhaps they have forgotten the simplicity of the Salvation message:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
Just come as you are... Your Father eagerly awaits you. He only asks that you come with a heart that is open and willing to receive His Son, Jesus, as Lord and Savior.
Steps to Peace With God: God Loves You!
"...we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, ..."

God's Promise of an Abundant Life and the Peace that Passes Understanding
Christ said "I came that they might have life, and have it to the full"[that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10).
... He also said that He came that we might have "...the peace of God, which transcends all understanding..." Phill 4:7
If God has a life of abundance and peace for us, why is it that so many (even those with great wealth) seem to experience such emptiness and turbulence in their lives? The Word tells us...
We ALL fail in many ways, defined as "sin", this sin separates us from God and all that He has for us.
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 and
"The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] Romans 6:23.)
We seek to fill the emptiness which comes from our separation from God with wealth, drugs, alcohol or even sex. However, these are poor substitutes which can leave us feeling even emptier than before.
Some of us try to reach God through living a moral life, through philosophy, or through religious traditions.
However, these efforts inevitably fail as the spiritual gulf between God's holiness and us can only be bridged through our perfection (which is impossible) OR ...
The Bridge from Turbulence to Tranquility …
To bridge the gulf between God's holiness and mankind, rather than reduce His holiness; God made the ultimate sacrifice:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16) and
Christ died in our place, that we would no longer have to achieve perfection nor pay the price of our failings, sins:
"...the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him (Jesus)..." Isaiah 53:5
God Has Provided "the Way"!
The Way we can be reconciled with Him and receive His promises of an abundant life and peace is through accepting His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior...
However, Each Of Us Must Make A Choice...
The Choice...You Can Receive Jesus Right Now!
1. Admit that during your life you have sinned, having made mistakes and fallen short of the glory of God.
2. Accept God's free gift of Jesus, and His sacrifice of dying on the cross.
3. Decide to open your heart to Jesus as Lord and Savior.
4. Through the following prayer, invite Jesus to enter your heart through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Pray these words...
Dear Jesus,
I have failed. I have sinned and I am sorry for those sins. I accept the gift of your Son, as Lord and Savior.
Jesus, please come into my heart, and by the power of the Holy Spirit help me to live the life you have for me. I don't understand it all now, but I open my heart to you and trust that you will guide me and teach me the way to go.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

"... , that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6)
To deepen your relationship with the Lord, keep your heart open as you:
1) Read your Bible, and invite the Spirit of God to reveal more to you about God and His Son, Jesus.
2) Talk to God regularly in prayer.
3) Worship and fellowship in a welcoming and affirming, Biblically based Church where Christ is preached!
4) Represent Christ in this needy world by demonstrating your new life, loving and caring for others.
Just As I Am
Just as I am, without one plea, But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that thou bid'st me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come!"
"Just as I am, tho tossed about, With many a conflict, many a doubt, fightings and fears, within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come!"
